Julie Austin is a neurodivergent artist, illustrator and quilter. Her family is French-American, and she actually lives in Loire Valley, France. She works from her studio not far away from the river.

Surrounded by plants and animals, her art is an ode to the Earth, and the never-ending cycle of life-death-life seasons.

Her practice includes drawing and painting, quilts and patchwork, and sometimes folk crafts like making fish skin leather or plant inks. Textures and colors are central to her work, and her favorite mediums are wax pastels, oil pastels, acrylic, and colored pencils.

Welcome in her poetic and sensitive world.
